A little about the boot.

The Dryboot is a long-established, durable waterproof lace-up boot with origins dating back to 1953, evolving through earlier versions like Bridgedale and Viking before being relaunched under The Dryboot Company’s own Harris brand due to strong customer demand. Designed with the same proven materials and manufacturing methods—primarily high-quality natural rubber—it has remained largely unchanged over decades, reflecting its reliability and popularity as a practical alternative to traditional knee-length wellingtons. Built for demanding outdoor use, it offers comfort, longevity, and dependable waterproof protection for activities such as walking, farming, gardening and fieldwork, earning a loyal following for its toughness and straightforward, practical design.

A little about us.

Back in 2013 we estabished The Dryboot Company with the aim of bringing this classic and well loved boot back to market after production ceased. It was paramount to us that the original design and quality that made the Dryboot so popular was preserved, while reintroducing it under our own brand name, our family name. Since then, we have built a reputation for supplying reliable, no-nonsense footwear that meets the needs of outdoor folk who value durability, comfort, and tradition.
